Shipping Policy

Packing and Freight

The fee charged for shipping within Australia includes packing and freight.  This fee is based on the best price available to Overkill at the time to despatch goods to your destination, calculated on the weight and/or size of the total shipment.  Some purchases may be unable to be sent by air, for example batteries are sent via road/rail only.

If you require Express delivery and are unable to collect your order or arrange your own freight, the same principle will apply.  We will obtain the best Express freight price to assist you, and contact you if additional payment is required.

All shipments include tracking to your nominated shipping address.

If delivery is delayed after goods have been collected, late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancel the order.  Please note that the freight company may charge you an additional fee if the goods cannot be received upon the first attempt at your nominated shipping address.

If the freight charges increase for any reason after you have placed your order, we will contact you before despatch to request an additional payment.  Please note “Shipping included” may not apply to what we consider are remote destinations.

Inspection of Goods

Please check the completeness of the shipment against what was ordered and listed on the Tax Invoice.  It is your responsibility to document (including photograph) of any visible damage to the packaging and notify the freight courier.  Overkill must be advised in writing, via the Contact Us form on our website, with proof of damage within two days of receiving the shipment.

If there is any discrepancy in the shipment contents, it is your responsibility to advise us via the Contact Us form within 48 hours of receiving the goods.  We will compare the list of received goods to our records of what was sent.  If we do not receive notification within 48 hours of your receipt of the goods, the shipment will be deemed “delivered in full”.  We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items stolen, lost, or damaged after delivery has taken place.

Please note that the “Manufacturer’s Warranty” applies to all products.
