Ampere hours consumed are calculated by integrating the current flowing in or out of the battery. The Monitor measures battery voltage and current. Based on these measurements, it calculates the battery’s state of charge and the time to go. It also keeps stock of historical data, such as deepest discharge, average discharge and the number of charge and discharge cycles.
